Our newly renovated 2,500-square-foot event space can accommodate approximately 225 people, making it an ideal venue for a wide range of events.
Located in the heart of Dartmouth, Banook Canoe Club offers a convenient and welcoming setting for:

The event space is available to rent to anyone in the community, with special rental rates available to Banook Canoe Club members.

Multi-Purpose Activity Space¶
Looking for a versatile space for your next activity, program, or celebration? Our approximately 2,000-square-foot activity space features 15-foot ceilings and can accommodate up to 175 people.
The space is ideal for a wide range of recreational and community activities, including:
- 🏸 Pickleball
- 🏀 Elementary school-age basketball, with nets set at 9 feet
- ⚽ Soccer
- 🎉 Birthday parties
- 🧘 Yoga and fitness classes
- 🥋 Self-defence classes
- And much more!
The space is already home to a variety of regular community users, including an after-school program, self-defence classes, exercise programs, and yoga.

Dragon Boat Rental¶
Banook has a Dragon Boat which can be rented by the hour. Each rental will include a coach and all the necessary equipment.
